How do I upload and print pictures from a camera directly to a printer?

Some printers have direct memory card slots with in-built media card readers. With this type of printer you can simply remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into the printer’s media reader. Then use the printer’s little LCD screen and menu to view the images and control the print output. With other printers you can connect the camera directly to the printer by USB cable and control the print output from the camera’s menu. Both the camera and the printer must be PictBridge compatible. In this case there is limited editing capability prior to printing.
