To access ISU secure web pages such as the My.ISU.edu Student Portal and Faculty/Staff Tools a browser with 128bit encryption is required. Earlier versions such as IE4 do not include 128bit encryption and will need to be upgraded to the latest version. To upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer: • You must use Internet Explorer 5.0 or later to utilize the Microsoft updates site. • Click on: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ Microsoft will automatically determine which software is available for download. • Select the latest version of Internet Explorer (currently version 6). • Select Download. • Select Download now. When the download is complete windows will ask you to restart your computer so it can complete the process.
