How do I upgrade the system software on my ProCurve 700wl Series product?
There are two methods to upgrade the system software on the 700wl Series products: • Remote download method, which downloads the latest version of software directly to the 700wl from a remote site (via FTP, TFPT, HTTP) • Distribution file method, which downloads the software onto the 700wl from a local system Both methods require the correct, version specific, software key that is available on a password protected page on http://www.hp.com/go/hpprocurve (select software and then 700wl Series). The username and password for this secure page are in the Help files of the Administrative Interface on your 700wl Series product. Once the software image is loaded on the 700wl, this new image becomes the alternate version. The system must be rebooted using the alternate version as the system image.
