How do I upgrade from GateWall 3.1 to UserGate 4.X?

• Save the file named config.cfg from GateWalls main directory to another location on your hard drive. • Uninstall GateWall. • Install UserGate. • Move your saved copy of config.cfg to UserGates main directory. The file config.cfg contains your software settings (rules, users, etc). Unfortunately your user statistics will be lost (file log.mdb), because UserGate is built using a new database that is not compatible with GateWalls, so don’t copy the statistics file, as UserGate won’t be able to recognize it.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
