How do I upgrade from an evaluation to a full commercial version (single-user, node-locked or counted)?

To upgrade, you must purchase a new license – there is no upgrade from an evaluation license to a commercial license. We recommend you uninstall the evaluation product first, including the evaluation license file, then install the full version.

You need no re-installation if you try the same version of the product. The only thing you need do is to copy the full license file to the folder where the evaluation license file is. You need reinstall the product if you like different version with the full license. Please select the option of provide the full path of the license file instead of the serial number when the installer asks the license. (Note: Exception is the case that you evaluate Intel C++/Fortran compiler version 11.x by using evaluate the product option when installing. You need reinstall the product no matter you want the same version or different versions with that of evaluation copy. Please choose the second option that is Activate the product or the third option which is Choose alternative activation in the activation options window instead of using existing license on the system when you install the full license product.
