For desktop applications, click “Check for Updates” in the application menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the software. For iPhone applications, go to “App Store” on the iPhone, and tap on “Updates”. If the screen displays “All Apps Are Up to Date”, you have the latest version. If not, tap on the appropriate app to install the latest version.
