How do I update the virus definition file when using Norton Antivirus on Windows?
Norton Antivirus (Corporate Edition) should be running at all times, in order to provide protection of your file system in real time. If it is, an icon for Norton Antivirus should be in your taskbar notification area, usually in the lower right of your screen. Double clicking the Norton Antivirus icon will open up a Norton Antivirus window, in it is a button “LiveUpdate”, click this button and follow the instructions in order to get the most recent virus definitions.
