To Top Go To Appraisal Toolkit Guidance Last years agreed PDP can be updated to mark development tasks as completed. To document when personal development needs are completed clinicians should login to this years appraisal record and should view ‘last years agreed PDP’ by selecting ‘planning your PDP’ from the left hand menu. Clicking on the ‘edit’ buttons of last years agreed PDP will allow the clinician to add the outcomes of that PDP item in the ‘completed’ column. Therefore the clinician can add completion information through the year as each learning need is met. By tracking when development needs are met the clinician is able to identify those needs which have successfully been completed and those which may require further consideration and/or action. Those needs that require further consideration and/or action can then be ‘brought forward’ into the proposed PDP to be considered for further discussion in the next appraisal meeting.
