How do I update the CAN & Firmware on the Winstar system?

You need to download the Firmware software from the ICM website and download the latest CAN & Firmware files. Once you have installed the Firmware program onto the PC/laptop, double click on the CAN and Firmware zip files. These files will self extract to the relevant folders. Once the Winstar ultraplexer is powered up and connected to the PC/laptop open the Firmware program and run through the updating steps. It is important the power and connection to the Winstar ultraplexer does not get disturbed whilst it is updating these files, as any interruptions whilst updating can damage the hardware.
