How do I update my email address in BearFacts?
In order for a student to get his or her email address updated in BearFacts, the student must update his or her email address in the CalNet Directory. Only a student’s official email address gets sent to BearFacts. To update an official email address, do the following. • Go to the CalNet Directory Update, and log in: https://calnet.berkeley.edu/directory/update • Click on either the link in the left navigation or the button labeled “Edit Person Information” • In the Email and IM Information section, update the field labeled “Official Email Address” • Click on the button labeled “Update” Note: The Official Email Address must end with berkeley.edu and must be owned by the student.
