How do I update fields with numeric codes or that do not accept the entry I type into the field?
Certain fields, such as employing organization, have a table with valid values to choose from rather than allowing free form typing. This setup standardizes all entries. To update the value in these fields, click on the button to the right of the field to open the search page for the field. Use the fields that display to enter your search criteria and narrow your search. Once you find the correct value, click on it. You will be returned to the original page, with the value stored in the field. If you cannot find the value for which you are searching, submit a Remedy ticket or email ITSG@ndu.edu with your name, the field you are trying to update, and the value for which you are searching.
