How Do I Unlock Songs on Guitar Hero?
The original 2005 Guitar Hero video game for the Sony PlayStation 2 features songs by ZZ Top, Franz Ferdinand and Motorhead, among many other popular artists. It also features some songs that are unlockable, by bands such as Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives, Anarchy Club and Freezepop. To unlock these tracks, collect money while playing Guitar Hero’s career mode and then buy the tracks in the game’s store. Play through career mode. With each successful completion of a song you’ll collect some money. Once you have at least $250, go to the Main Menu and select “Store.” Search through the store to find the song you want and buy it. Keep playing career mode to earn more money to buy more unlockable songs.
