How do I uninstall Web Accel Manually?
You should run the uninstall.exe file in C:\Program Files\SlipStream Web Accelerator\uninstall\uninstall.exe. Your web accelerator may be located in a directory other than SlipStream Web accelerator based on the name that you use for the accelerator program. or if you are comfortable editing the registry you can do this • “Start” menu, “Run”, then type “regedit” • Go into HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE • Delete the entire key called “SlipStream” • Delete all the files in the installation directory (normally c:\program files\$BRANDED_CLIENT_NAME\$ • Remove all shortcuts via the “Start” menu, “Programs”, “Startup” and then right-click on SlipStream Web Accelerator (or the name of the branded client) and then delete this shortcut. Any other shortcuts can be removed in a similar manner.
