How do I turn OFF transmission of MIDI Program Changes on the EWI4000s?
Being able to turn off MIDI Program Change transmission is something that has been added to the EWI4000s as of OS version 2.4. If you need this feature, be sure to download and install version 2.4 or later OS in your EWI4000s. A “PC” menu has been added with this new OS which allows you to send or block program changes via the EWI4000s MIDI OUT.
Being able to turn off MIDI Program Change transmission is something that has been added to the EWI4000s as of OS version 2.4. If you need this feature, be sure to download and install version 2.4 or later OS in your EWI4000s. A “PC” menu has been added with this new OS which allows you to send or block program changes via the EWI4000s MIDI OUT. To turn off Program Change transmission from an EWI4000swith OS v2.4 or higher, do this: Press and hold down the SETUP button. While holding down the SETUP button, use the two side keys to scroll to the “PC” parameter. When you see “PC” in the display release the SETUP button. You should see “dP” in the display. Now use the two side keys to scroll to the “Et” parameter. If there is a dot between these two letters then the horn is set to transmit program change data via MIDI OUT.
