How do I turn off the postage that prints in the Postage and Fees box on the long 2976-A customs forms for Priority or Express International mail?
We offer an option when using Dazzle interactively to turn this printing off, but the amount MUST still be filled in by hand or at the post office. We only allow this for the cases where customers will pay for additional postage (like USPS insurance or extra services) at the post office and thus the amount we would print would be wrong. You would uncheck the box “Fill in Postage and Fees” on the ‘Customs Information’ tab on the Dazzle ‘Print’ screen. NOTE: If you are printing from an XML file, using Endicia’s Galaxy Ship software, or one of our integrated partners that send Dazzle XML print instructions you will not have this option. The Postage and Fees section will be filled in even when using the Stealth postage option. US Customs regulations require that information on the customs even though the USPS allows the postage amount to be hidden in the Indicia.
