1. Open Microsoft Word. 2. Click Tools > AutoCorrect and select the AutoFormat As You Type tab (it’s the second one from the left). 3. Uncheck both Automatic bulleted lists and Automatic numbered lists. 4. Next, click on the AutoFormat tab (it’s the one all the way to the right). 5. Uncheck Automatic bulleted lists. 6. Click OK.
