How do i tune my new mikuni carburetor for my 1995 250cc yamaha timberwolf?
The float needle is stuck in the open position. You’ll need to remove the float bowl and clean the needle valve. It is a good idea to have a fuel filter between the tank and the carburetor to prevent this from happening again. When you have a chance to ride the bike you will know whether the carb needs tuning then. After you take it out, post again describing exactly how it ran. You need to describe if it ran rich or lean and at what throttle position it ran best and worst. Also say what model and size of Mikuni you installed.
