To find Radio 5 live sports extra or the Radio 4 LW (Long Wave) part-time sercvices on your radio, turn the tuning button one notch away from Radio 4 or 5 Live, and press select. Some radios let you memorise this setting, but you’ll need to do this when the station is on the air. If you try tuning in when the station is not broadcasting most DAB set screens will state: ‘Station Off Air’ or ‘Station Unavailable’ before re-tuning into the main channel.
