How do I treat my Class 8 truck engine with MotorSilk™?

0

General information (Class 8 Trucks) MotorSilk™ engine treatment is added to the oil sump at a dilution ratio of 1 part MotorSilk™ to 9 parts reservoir fluid. For 40 to 44 quart (10 to 11 gallon) oil sump capacity engines, add 1 gallon of MotorSilk™ in place of 1 gallon of engine oil. MotorSilk™ is added last, on top of the engine oil, to avoid having the product taken directly into the oil filter. If the engine is equipped with an auxiliary (after-market) ultra-fine by-pass oil filtration system, disable the system before adding the MotorSilk™ Engine Treatment. Do not re-enable the by-pass filter until the engine treatment has been in the engine for at least 2000 miles. NOTE: New and rebuilt engines may be treated with MotorSilk™ immediately. Boron CLS Bond™ Technology Installation Add MotorSilk™ engine treatment to new oil at the next scheduled oil service, run engine for 1 hour to allow for the cleaning and removal of all deposits, if engine oil pressure begins to drop significantly
