How do I travel between Hickam AFB and the Hale Koa?
(Current as of Sep 09) Take “The Bus” Route 19 Bus (bus stop is about 200 yds from PAX terminal) to the Hilton Hawaiian Village (adjacent to Hale Koa, ~75 yds). Adult Fare as of writing is $2.25 per person, per trip (One transfer per paid fare is good for 2 hours) and EXACT CHANGE is required. Since EXACT CHANGE is required check the latest fare variations on The Bus web site before you travel. The bus runs about every 30-40 minutes. Technically speaking no baggage is permitted that cannot be stowed under a seat or held on your lap, but the drivers tend to be somewhat tolerant of larger cases especially in off hours. The last seat before the rear exit on the bus’s own right side (the left as you walk down the aisle) has a somewhat larger space behind it where bags can be stowed.
