How do I transition from weight reduction to the weight maintenance phase?
When you reach your goal weight, we will plan to do a gradual transition rather than suddenly jumping back into “real food”. During the transition period, your goal will be to gradually ease back into eating regular food at the same time you slowly wean off the TLC supplements. Doing a careful transition protects you from experiencing a “rebound” weight gain from suddenly increasing your calorie intake. It also gives your digestive system and metabolism a chance to adapt to handling regular food again. It is best to stretch your transition over a period of three to six weeks so your body can gradually adapt to the changes.
