How do I transfer references saved from database searches into EndNote, without retyping them?
References saved from database searches can be imported into your EndNote library, using the appropriate filter file. The filter will transfer the data from your saved searches correctly into your library. You will need to use the filter that matches the database name and provider from which you saved the references (eg. Medline – OVID). This is very important. To learn how to use filters, go to Section 2.2: Adding references by importing.
