How do I transfer music on backup DVDs to a new computer?
Select the Music Files to CopyPlace the DVD containing your music files into the DVD drive of your new computer. Select the music files you wish to transfer from the DVD to your new computer’s hard drive. To do this in Windows 7, click “Start,” select “Computer” and double-click the icon for your DVD drive. Select the music files you wish to copy. To copy all the files on your DVD simultaneously, type “Ctrl+A” followed by “Ctrl+C.”Copy the Files to Their New LocationCreate a folder for the files or open your existing music folder. In Windows 7, open the default music folder by clicking “Start” and choosing “Music” from the list of folders in the gray area on the right side of the Start menu.
