How do I transfer mice to a different PI (either between LSA-6 Suites or in the same Suite)?
The PI (either receiving or providing) will complete one pink transfer card for each cage to be transferred. Place the cards on the appropriate cages to be transferred. b) The AT from the “sending” room will then transfer the cages according to the date on the pink cards. The “pink card” is sent to the OLAC business office. A stamp is placed by the AT on the cage card of each cage that has been transferred: TRANSFERRED FROM PI____________Room_________Date_____________ c) When the new cage cards are printed (may be after the transfer has taken place), the PI will place them on appropriate cages.
