How do i transfer itunes from one computer to another?
Hi there! I saw your question awhile ago at work and was pretty-sure I knew the answer but wanted to get home to look in my iPod/iTunes book to make sure. I actually thought by the time I got home that someone would have answered your question, and I’m surprised that no one has answered you yet. In any event, I was right! I’m looking in my book now and here is what you need to do: Apple allows you to “Authorize” up to 5 computers to play all of your purchased songs, videos, etc. How you do this is when you are in your iTunes Library on your new computer, at the top-right hand side is a row of buttons that say “File, Edit, Controls, View, Store, Advanced, Help” – select “Store” and then select “Authorize Computer”. Then you will need to copy your iTunes Library from your old computer onto an External Hard Drive – you can get one at any computer/electronics store (like Radio Shack). The size of the Hard Drive will depend on how large your iTunes Library is that you are wanting to move. T
