Indiana University – Bloomington (IUB) currently accepts a total of 369 semester credit hours from Ivy Tech, and this number is increasing each year. Ivy Tech students who complete a minimum of 26.0 transferable semester credits, with a 2.5 GPA or higher, and no grade less than ‘C’ are currently guaranteed admission to Indiana University Bloomington as a transfer student (requirements are subject to change). To transfer to IUB, students are recommended to apply for IUB admission before the priority review date, which typically occurs early in the semester prior to transfer. Official Ivy Tech transcripts will also be required by IUB, both at the time of application as well as after all Ivy Tech coursework is completed. It is highly recommended that you meet with your Ivy Tech academic advisor early in your first year to create an education plan for transfer.
