How do I transfer credits I’ve earned at another school?

All students receiving credit from sources other than SPU should be familiar with the “Limitations on Credit Applicable toward a Degree” section in the SPU Undergraduate Catalog. If you completed college courses at another college or university, you must provide SPU with an official transcript from each school attended. Your Undergraduate Academic Counselor will determine how many credits transfer to SPU and which areas of SPU’s curriculum are fulfilled by previous academic work. Your faculty advisor will determine whether or not specific transfer courses fulfill major or minor requirements. You will be sent a transfer credit evaluation and a “Transfer Credit Evaluation Explanation” which will summarize the evaluation of your transfer work.
