How do I transfer an addressbook from Netscape Messenger (Netscape 7)?
1) Whilst using Netscape, open up the address book window – Window | Address Book 2) Open the Export dialogue – Tools | Export… 3) Choose to save the addresses in a CSV format – Save as type | Comma Separated (*.csv) 4) Choose a filename and location to save to 5) Press ‘Save’ 6) Open IMP by going to here . 7) Enter your username, password and select the correct IMAP host, to enter. 8) Press ‘Address Book’ on the top menu bar. 9) Go to ‘Import / Export’ on the top menu bar. 10) Where it says ‘Select the format to import from:’ select Comma separated values . 11) Where it says ‘ Select the destination to import to:’ select My Addressbook . 12) Where is says ‘Select the file to import:’ browse to your file and press the Import button. 13) The last part of the procedure tells IMP how to import the two columns in the data file.
