How do I transfer a tenant from one unit to another unit while keeping all of their information intact?
Just choose the tenant on the Tenant Form. Then drop down your list of addresses and choose the new address. The payment history for that tenant will follow them. The income previously collected in the first unit will still show under the first unit on income reports. IF the tenant is a roommate and is sharing charges with another tenant, then you can not transfer them to another unit. You must make the tenant inactive and give them a move out date. Then create the tenant again on the tenant form, give them a new move in date in the new unit.
