How do I topcoat POR 15 Rust Preventive Paint?
1. Apply topcoat within 48 hours (12 hours for non POR 15 topcoats) of the last coat of POR 15 Rust Preventive Paint being touch dry. 2. Apply our Tie-Coat primer – at any stage from touch dry. 3. Allow surface to fully cure (96 hours) sand POR 15 Rust Preventive Paint – this is not an easy job, on such a tough surface. We recommend option 1 or 2, as being the simplest and most cost effective.
