How do I tone down or remove a semi permanent red hair dye over bleach blonde hair?
I am at my wits end! I had my hair professionally frosted about two months ago. I like the blonde, with my dark hair roots, but I wanted to add some red low lights with the blonde streaking throughout. However, I did not get the results I wanted. Now I have dark roots, and a multi blonde/red patchwork head. I look like Happy the Clown, minus the Happy part. Does ANYONE know how to get semi permanent hair dye out sooner than later? I do not want to go any shorter so cutting it out is not an option. I have already tried washing it out, but it is not yet making a difference. Hey, I’m an attractive woman in my early 50’s. If I was seventeen it might work. However… well you know. Please HELP!
