How Do I Throw A Fabulous Baby Shower?
When my best friend had her baby, I threw her baby shower. One thing I did was get really cheap baby bottles and cut the opening a little larger and used them to hold cream and sugar for coffee. I also got packages of really cheap pacifiers and used them as napkin rings. They looked really cute. I used plain white table clothes on the table, but then I bought receiving blankets and used them in the middle of the tables. After the shower, I gave them to my friend. I also got baby food jars from another friend her already had a baby and put little candles in them on the tables. For games, I avoided things designed to embarrass the mom-to-be, like everybody trying to guess how much string it would take to go around the pregnant belly. I’ve seen the guest of honor burst into tears because she thought she was really huge. Definitely brings down a party.
