How do I terminate an employee that uses a Flex Debit Card?
• You can terminate an employee at any time using the employer website (www.eflexonline.com). If you enter a date in the future, our databases will not be populated until the effective termination date. Once our database is populated with the termination date, the debit card will be automatically suspended overnight. • In addition to terminating the employee online, it is recommended that you suspend the debit card on the employer website and collect the debit card from the participant as part of your termination process. • You can also notify CBIZ Flex of terminations. We will populate the termination date in our system the day you notify us. The card will be terminated overnight as of the day we enter the information in our database. This is an automatic feature that helps prevent unauthorized use of debit cards. To avoid cards from being turned off too early, you can either terminate your employees using the employer website or wait until the employees’ termination date to notify us
