How do I tell me 10 year old girl about puberty?
There are several options out there these days. First you need to know if she herself knows what it is and what may be happening to her body. You should be able to go the the library and get books on puberty designed for her age. You need to be honest with her and not treat her with all the slang words that are used these days.Or you can use the slang words but tell her what the correct medical terms are.Depending upon your daughters overall mental capacity, you may or may no have to break it down for her. There are many books in the biology sections that she’s what her body may go thru. You can also talk her from your own self experience what you went thru and see if she is experiencing any of them know. The most important thing is to keep the line of communication open with your daughter.
