How do I tell if my hermit crab is a girl or boy?
There is something called gonopores underneath the body. The look like two little dots no bigger than a grain of sand. They vary in colors also. Some people may try to tell you that the females are light and the males are dark because this was told to me when I was 5 years old. That saying is not true. When your hermit crab is walking just pick it up and look underneath if it is a female you will see the gonopores which looks like dirt kind of like holes. I hope this helps you.
