How do I take care of two baby goats?
Goats can be very easy to care for if you’re set up properly but a royal pain in many body parts if you aren’t. Keeping them with the birds isn’t a good idea. There are diseases that can pass between the two. They need shelter, about 3 square feet of indoor space will be enough for now. I’ve know people who have used large dog houses. An outdoor area can be fenced with combination panels. Hog panels are too short and cattle panels are too open and little goats will squease right through. I hope they are weaned. They will need a bit of grain mix, as much good hay as they want and a mineral mix made for goats. Goats will waste much of their hay because they will only eat the very best and will need to be mostly starved before they will finish up hay that they’ve decided they don’t want.
