If you have FontExplorer X Pro 2.0.1 installed, you can use the integrated “Check for Update” function to update your software. However, if you are running FontExplorer X Pro 2.0 you will have to visit our website at www.fontexplorerx.com/mactrial and download the new version from there. When manually updating, if FontExplorer X Pro 2.0.x is already installed please make sure that it is not running. Install the new version by dragging the FontExplorer X Pro application icon to the Applications folder on your hard disk. A message will be displayed stating that FontExplorer X Pro already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it? Click “Replace” and then open the application from the Applications folder. You will see all the fonts, sets and smart sets from FontExplorer X Pro 2.0.x. When switching from a trial version of FontExplorer X Pro 2.0.x to version 2.5 the remainder of your 30 day trial period will still be valid for the version 2.5.
