How do I switch between Touch Tone and Pulse (rotary) Dialing?
To switch dialing from Tone to Pulse (or vice-versa) do the following… Open the dialer icon. (Normally called Dial Modem Madness or Connect To Modem Madness) If the top of the dialup window has our Modem Madness logo, click the Properties button on the right. Put the dot next to the dialing setting your phone line has. If you hear clicks whenever you dial a phone number, your setting must be set to Pulse. If you hear tones when dialing a phone number, the setting can be either Pulse or Tone. Tone dialing is faster, and preferred if you are paying for a Touch Tone Dial line. Click OK when you have selected the appropriate dial type. If the top of the dialup window shows a globe and 2 computers at the top, click the Dialing Rules button.
