How do I successfully participate in a High Score Tournament?
High Score Tournaments are based on your high scores within Quickplay and Career Modes (Local). You’ll set out to play the tournament’s designated song(s) in Quickplay or Career Mode (on your tournament’s designated difficulty level), and your high scores for those songs will automatically be added to the tournament standings. You can continue to try to improve upon those high scores, as long as you’re playing within the tournament’s designated time range. When the tournament has come to a close, the user with the highest cumulative score will be declared the winner. * High Scores already saved to your copy of Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock, Guitar Hero®: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero® World Tour, Guitar Hero® Metallica® or Guitar Hero® Smash Hits will not be uploaded to the tournament standings, you must play the designated song(s) on your tournament’s designated difficulty level within the tournament time range, and your high scores within that period of time count towards the tournament
