How do I submit catalogue data to Indigo Books & Music Inc. and chapters.indigo.ca?
We have created a convenient Excel template (entitled “Publisher Template”) for submitting your data. You can request it, along with a Word document explaining each field and its accompanying codes, by sending an e-mail to electronicdata@indigo.ca. This initial data communication to Indigo contains the core information that will allow our Category Management team to make an informed decision about purchasing for each upcoming season. The data should be received six months in advance of publication, and while many publishers provide their catalogue data four times per year, more and more are opting to provide this information monthly or as new titles are announced. Ideally, this data will be communicated before Sales Representatives sit down to go over their forthcoming frontlist titles with our Category Management Team.
