How do I submit a pest or plant for identification and management information?
Via email (preferred): For plant samples, you may send a photograph of the entire plant and a close-up of the problem, flowers or fruits if possible, via email to Mastergardener@broward.org. You may also send a high-quality photograph of any structural or landscape insect pest to the same address, describing what problem it appears to be causing you. A highly trained Master Gardener volunteer will answer your question and email relevant research-based literature within a few days, or contact you and inform you of other information necessary to assist in the diagnosis of your problem and the most “Florida-Friendly” solution.
