How Do I Stop The Sun Bleaching My Settees?

This is the exact reason why when I bought my last settee I bought a very light one, as the sales person said the dark colour could fade. You need to diffuse the sunlight so it is not directly onto your settees, you could try the wooden horizontal blinds and set the slats so the light is diffused upwards, this will still make the room a bit dark but not as dark as closed curtains. I don’t like “nets” either – reminiscent of 1970’s housing schemes, but why not use Voile it is by far more fashionable and you get such a variety of designs that they work in both modern and traditional styled homes.
