How do I stop playback, turn off the television and Explorer 8000, and start up the playback at the point that I left without having to fast-forward?

The last viewed playback is always automatically bookmarked after stopping it or channeling off the DVR channel. So, the next time you select the same recording, it will resume at the point where you left it, regardless of whether or not you turn of the TV.
