How do I stop paying child support after 18?

The last month my dad paid child support was the month i turned 18. Your last child support payment should be in Feb., i would think. However, i think these things can vary, so you should probably double-check your paperwork on that. It should say until the child turns 18, not until the child turns 18 unless they are entering college, lol I’m almost completely positive that you wouldn’t have to pay those 7 months, i mean, at 18 he’s legally an adult. EDIT: I REALLY doubt that you would still have to pay child support while your son is in college because by that time it’s technically his own & therefore responsible for himself. I’m a full time married college student…could you just imagine my dad still making child support payments to my mom?!!
