How do I stop my Pokemon from evolving? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Once it starts to evolve, simply press B to cancel the process. Once the Pokemon gains another Level, it’ll try to evolve again. The advantages are that your Pokemon will learn its attacks at an earlier Level than if it evolved. The disadvantages are that your Pokemon will have lower stats than if it evolved and therefore will be weaker, that is why you might want to evolve it once it has learned a new attack.
