How do i stop my green conure from biting?
Congratulations on your first bird! and a simple way to stop them from biting your hand is to instead of them biting ur finger, is for them to bite a nutricious apple instead, or a peice of fruit/veg. This is very good, if you do this a few or more times they will know u are their friend and stop biting you and the nutricious fruits/veg everytime you try to take them out of the cage. For the case of them biting you is probably if you do fast movements or something else like talk loudly + fast. They hate that it makes them afraid of you, so for them to trust you more you can talk to them softly, sweetly and nicely, feed them treats daily. It takes a bird to trust you for a about months or even years for some! It depends on their attitude + personality. Every single bird has a differant personality.
