It will help when Pickles gets neutered. Before puberty, kittens are generally very accepting of other kittens. They do play roughly and it looks scary, but it’s an important part of their social development. By play fighting, they are learning proper use of teeth and claws. Trim their claws so no one gets hurt and just let them go. Pickles isn’t trying to hurt Lily. It’s all very normal. My cat Peanut was 9 months old (and neutered) when I brought in 6 week old Rocky (a rescue). Even after proper introductions, Peanut would hiss at Rocky and chase him. I got scared a couple of times. After about a month, I caught Peanut and Rocky wrestling really rough one morning. I ran to save Rocky but Peanut let him go. Rocky immediately jumped on Peanut’s head. That’s when I knew they were playing. Since then, their wrestling has continued and they are like peas and carrots. They are constantly together, either wrestling, sleeping, or bathing each other. It’s adorable.

Our other cat-male is just very curious about this new cat-female, only we think she was on the street for a while so she is very aggressive over whatever space she is currently in. The hissing and the spitting stopped mostly, unless they are walking around the house and bump noses coming around a corner. The girl luckily is not using her claws with the cat- which is more then we can say for our dogs! Its been a couple days here so we thought we would slowly introduce the dogs but she was having none of that and swatted at them. So I came on here to research helping her adjust more and found yours. I found a couple articles that I think might help, there are so many factors that go into this it is insane. Our vet told me yesterday that it could take the animals a month to get used to each other. The first
