How do I stop a bird flying into my window?
Bird strikes occur when birds see open sky reflected in your window. This may occur, based on sunlight and the time of day, in certain windows of your home or certain areas of a large window. Put inexpensive stick-on silhouettes of hawks, falcons or owls on outside of window. Hang plants, streamers, wind chimes, or other objects outside the window. Move feeders away from large picture windows. Many birds that hit windows and appear to be dead are merely stunned.
