How do I stain concrete floors?
Visit your local home improvement store. Purchase a can of concrete stain. For color, purchase an acid-based stain. Cover all walls and trim in the areas you want to apply concrete stain. Clean the concrete thoroughly. Sweep it with a push broom and then mop it using warm, soapy water. Allow the concrete to dry before applying stain.Test an inconspicuous area of concrete flooring with the stain. Follow manufacturer’s instructions for applying stain. If the stain meets your approval, continue with the remainder of the floor. For a deeper color, apply a thicker layer of stain. Apply a second coat if necessary.
