Is it during startup of the computer, or slow on the net or during normal usage. If it is during normal startup, do the following- click Start> Run and type MSCONFIG Once the Syatem Configuration window opens up, click on the last tab that says, Startup. Select All except for yur anti-virus and click Disable. Restart yur comp as it suggests. Once it comes back up, yu’ll get a box that says ‘Don’t show this message again’. Check it and click OK. This will only remove the programmes from initiallising during startup of yur comp and not delete it completly. So, no worries.This will speed up yur comp a little. Delete or copy all the files/folders that yu don’t use everyday and store it on a CD. Pictures, music, video files occupy considerable amount of space.
